Missed out one of them... here is my guess - Charlie Chaplin & Mahatma Gandhi.
Charlie Chaplin and Gandhi!! But I am having a tough time connecting the two... let me know when this picture was taken!! (Wild guess: Has it got something to do with Hitler?)
Good job guys. That was indeed Gandhi and Chaplin.Chandra had an intersting take. She opined that it was Ben Kingsley and Richard Attenburough.Vicky, Apparently Chaplin was the British Government's mouthpiece and tried to talk Gandhi out of the hand spinning Khadhi movement.
I'll try and withhold the correct answers and give a fair chance to everyone. Clues too might be available in the comments section if warranted.
